I placed an order of 3 items + 1 free gift (as it was a promo) back in December '24 and was advised I wouldn't get it until January '25 because of the Christmas period (which is completely fair and valid). Upon receiving my order, 1 of the crochet hooks I ordered was the incorrect size. On the same day it was delivered, I emailed KnittingCo straight away explaining the situation and sent photos of proof of purchase and the items I had received. I got an automatic response straight away stating someone will be in contact as soon as possible. A week went by and still nothing, so I used the "Contact Us" page on this website, and I didn't even get an automatic response this time. Another 1-2weeks went by and still nothing, so I decided to message them on their instagram and facebook page on the 25th of January and no one has even read my messages. I was never rude, I just continued to explain the situation and that I wanted the item in question exchanged/replaced with the item I originally purchased. Another 2 weeks went by and I tried calling their 1800 number, and the call kept ending, never even getting the chance to speak to someone.
I thought this was a great company, and the fact it's in Australia was even better, plus I had made purchases before with no issues. But I'm greatly disappointed in the big lack of communication to their customers. I unfortunately wont be purchasing from this company again as I don't want to risk receiving the wrong items again.
