In the past we have put a couple of Free Pattern of the Week on the Knitting Co Facebook Page and we thought we'd move these to our Blog instead now that it is live. Here, we recap some past favourites...
The Mega Bulky Crochet Basket.
(First published on Yarnspirations)
We just love these baskets. They are great for storing knitting supplies or organising your yarn stash. Also good for storing toys or blankets.
Uses approx. 900g - 1.8kg (dependent on size) of Super Bulky solid colour yarns with a 10mm Crochet Hook.
We suggest the ultra affordable Ice Yarns "Alpine" Yarn for these really cool DIY yarn storage solutions.
The Honeycomb Baby Blanket
by Terry Kimbrough, Susan Leitzsch & Lucie Sinkler (first published on How Stuff Works)
This baby blanket is soft and colourful and would work with so many different colourways. We love the version pictured here.
Uses approx. 500g (1034m) of 8-ply solid colour yarns.
We suggest Manos Del Uruguay "Silk Blend" for a seriously lush blanket!!
